Yes! I said the FOURTH installment of the “Friday” movies. I was listening to the radio on the way to work and Mike Epps was being interviewed. A new Friday movie is currently in the works.

I’m sure this is going to be a decent film. When I saw the cast list I almost passed out. You’re seriously telling me that it’s LEGAL to have all of this talented beautiful chocolate in one movie at ONE freaking time? Not only is this a Black historical joint [about the Tuskeegee airmen]— which i love —but it’s going to be a QUALITY Black historical joint.
This comes to the big screen on Jan 20th and I’m so happy. Why? Chances are, it’ll be on DVD before I go overseas…

I heard about this web-series a while back but never actually sat down and watched all the episodes til last week. I am hooked, thoroughly.
I know I usually feature movies but I watched this today and I felt that it deserved a spot in Friday Flick-dom. I can relate to J in so many ways. #gshit.
Makes me want to go to film school after the Corps even more.

Only because I watched it today. Was always intrigued by this movie… Y’know statutory in the 1st degree, the doll, the fake fros, the talk about the “American Dream” as it pertains to black people and what it is to be a teen.

I’m in the process of reading this and for some reason I’m having a hard time getting into it. I usually like to read books before I watch the film adaptations but I thought I’d just see if it were available on YouTube Movies… It was.
